Acadian Air Med Services Recognizes Employee of the Year

Domingue was presented with his award by Vice President of Air Services, Erroll Babineaux.

May 30, 2017-At Acadian’s annual company meeting, Executive Aircraft Charter Service Captain Kevin Domingue was recognized as the 2017 Air Services Employee of the Year. Acadian Air Med’s medically equipped fixed-wing aircraft are reconfigured for private business and leisure charter flights with Executive Aircraft Charter Service when not in use for medical transportation.

Domingue was presented with his award by Vice President of Air Services, Erroll Babineaux.

A native of Scott, Louisiana, Domingue has been with Executive Aircraft Charter for three years. After graduating from Acadiana High School, he earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before completing flight school at Horizon Aviation. He began his career at Paul Fournet Air Service, where he held many positions, including lineman, mechanic, flight instructor and charter pilot. His relationship with Acadian began in 2005, when he served as an Operational Control Coordinator for Air Med at Metro Aviation.

Domingue was hired by Air Med and Executive Aircraft Charter Service in September 2014. This required him to make the transition from flight instructing to flying a King Air 200 turboprop, and his supervisor says Domingue was up for the challenge.

“After initial training, Kevin quickly became comfortable in the aircraft,” says Director of Operations Spencer Anderson. “His commitment to customer service has made him the preferred pilot by many of our regular customers.”

Acadian Air Med was founded in 1981 and currently operates a fleet of nine medically configured helicopters and seven fixed-wing aircraft from seven base stations, strategically located throughout South Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
