Acadian Air Med has recognized Alex Alexander as Flight Registered Nurse (RN) of the Year. This award recognizes his dedication to patient care, commitment to professional growth, and contributions to the Air Med program.

Alexander began his career with Acadian in 2018 as an EMT. He earned his paramedic certification in 2019 and became an RN in 2021. In 2022, he joined Acadian Air Med as a Flight Nurse, where he continues to provide critical care to patients throughout the region.
In addition to his role with Air Med, Alexander works as a bedside nurse in a local hospital and regularly takes shifts on ground ambulances. His experience in both the hospital and prehospital settings allows him to bring a broad perspective to patient care and makes him a valuable resource for his coworkers.
Alexander earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2024 and holds advanced certifications, including Certified Flight Paramedic. Critical Care Registered Nurse and Certified Transport Registered Nurse. His leadership, clinical expertise, and dedication to supporting his coworkers led to his selection as Base Lead for Air Med 7 in Monroe, Louisiana.
