Building a Stronger Statewide Network

Life Air Rescue Logo

Shreveport-based Life Air Rescue is a part of Acadian Air Med’s network of rotor-wing and fixed-wing operations. Life Air Rescue operates under a partnership between Acadian Air Med and Metro Aviation.

Life Air Rescue responds to emergency scene calls and interfacility transfers within a 150-mile base radius covering North Louisiana, East Texas, South Arkansas and West Mississippi.

The partnership expands Acadian Air Med’s network, which previously included 11 EC-135 and EC-145 helicopters, as well as King Air and Lear fixed-wing aircraft strategically based throughout Louisiana.

Life Air Rescue has transported approximately 600 patients annually and strives to uphold the highest standards in emergency and critical care transport.
