Acadian Air Med recently provided Night Landing Zone training to more than 200 employees of the St George Fire Department. The three-day training covered invaluable information in establishing safe landing zones, including marking areas off, clearing obstacles, assisting in properly loading patients and how to extricate, if needed.

AM3, based in Baton Rouge, was on scene all three days, allowing for live presentations and demonstrations. Flight RN/Paramedic Toni Blanchard, Flight Paramedic Rene Millet, Pilot Jeff Williams, Flight RN Leigh Terry and Flight Paramedic Ryan Andrews participated in the training.
